Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in specialized units including ICU, ER, and oncology
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Document electronic health records accurately and in compliance with HIPAA
- Provide patient/family education on disease management and preventive care
- Maintain infection control protocols and emergency response readiness
- Mentor new staff and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado (Compact License preferred)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 3+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in weekend/hospital settings
- BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS required for pediatric units)
- Strong proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Demonstrated critical thinking and rapid assessment skills
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
