Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance (ADLs).
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
  • Communicate patient status changes and care needs to the Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse immediately.
  • Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
  • Document all patient interactions and care provided in electronic health records (EHR).

Qualifications

  • Current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Oklahoma.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and families.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
