Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with mobility and transfer patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and stretchers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and visitors.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and needs.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in compliance with facility policies.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA Certification (California State License required).
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience as a CNA or in a similar healthcare role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients as needed.
- Compassionate, patient-oriented, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
