Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
- Administer medication as directed by the RN or Physician and document administration.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient conditions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly patient environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Document patient care plans and progress updates accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or LPN/RN License (valid California license required).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
