Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities to ensure patient comfort and dignity.
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by licensed nursing staff under supervision.
- Communicate patient status changes and needs to the registered nurse (RN) and care team promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for patients and staff at all times.
- Document patient care activities accurately and efficiently in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current and active California CNA Certification (or equivalent state license).
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients (up to 50 lbs) as required.
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with a strong work ethic and reliability.
- Pass a current state background check and health clearance.
