Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned units (ER, Med-Surg, ICU, etc.)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and hospital policies
- Supervise LVNs and CNAs during shifts
- Participate in rapid response and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX)
- BSN preferred; Associate degree required
- 1+ years acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts (days/nights/weekends)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
