Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care during night shifts in ER, ICU, or Med-Surg units
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless care transitions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHRs)
- Lead rapid response team activations when needed
- Mentor junior staff and uphold clinical excellence standards
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Active PA RN license (or compact license)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care night shift experience
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in Epic or EHR systems
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
