Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Help residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility as needed.
- Monitor Patient Health: Take and record vital signs, report changes in condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Provide Emotional Support: Build rapport with residents and their families, offering companionship and emotional reassurance.
- Document Care: Accurately maintain patient care records and logs according to facility standards.
- Assist with Nutrition: Serve meals, assist with feeding, and monitor dietary intake.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to call lights and emergency situations following facility protocols.
Qualifications
- CNA License: Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state of Arizona.
- CPR Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification required.
- Experience: Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
