Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation accuracy
- Monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and escalate critical situations promptly
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Maintain electronic health records with meticulous attention to detail
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New Mexico (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred for specialty roles)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, medication administration, and patient monitoring
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
