Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility issues and transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate patient conditions, concerns, and changes in status to the registered nurse or charge nurse.
- Support the nursing team with documentation and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California CNA license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility is preferred.
