Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assess patient needs, administer medications, and monitor vital signs according to established nursing protocols.
- Document Care: Accurately and timely document patient assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with Team: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare staff to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
- Ensure Safety: Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff by adhering to infection control and safety regulations.
- Educate Patients: Provide clear instructions and education to patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and time management abilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
