Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Monitor patient status and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding to ensure patients receive proper nutrition.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients and visitors.
- Support medical staff during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required (or enrollment in a nursing program).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to lift and move patients, up to 50 lbs, as needed.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
