Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Provide basic bedside care and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Communicate patient status changes and concerns to the Registered Nurse immediately.
- Ensure patient rooms and common areas are clean, safe, and organized.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the nursing staff.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records.
Qualifications
- Current and active California CNA License required.
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR Certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to patient safety.
