Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient observations, and care activities
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation of patients within the facility
- Support meal services and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-controlled environment
- Report any changes in patient condition promptly to nursing staff
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in long-term care or acute care setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to document accurately
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
