Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration)
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties in patient rooms
- Transport patients safely within facility
- Report patient changes to nursing staff immediately
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience preferred
- CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
- Clean background check and drug screen
- Basic computer literacy for charting
