Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Monitor vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any abnormalities to the nursing staff.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide high-quality care.
- Create a positive and welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current and valid State of Wisconsin Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs safely and frequently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
