Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and verify dosages
- Manage inventory control and order pharmaceutical supplies
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records
- Counsel patients on medication usage and side effects
- Collaborate with pharmacists to optimize workflow efficiency
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain confidentiality standards
- Assist with vaccination administration and health screenings
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Pharmacy Technician certification required
- Minimum 1 year retail pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
