Responsibilities

  • Prepare and package prescription medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
  • Verify patient information, calculate dosages, and input prescriptions into the pharmacy management system accurately.
  • Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and retrieving pharmaceuticals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions regarding medications, insurance, and refill requests.

Qualifications

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification (CPhT) required by the state of Texas.
