Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments and equipment
- Assist surgeons during complex procedures including orthopedic, neuro, and vascular surgeries
- Maintain sterile fields and enforce safety protocols
- Manage inventory and sterilization of surgical instruments
- Document procedural details accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- 3+ years of recent operating room experience
- BLS/CPR certification
- Experience with minimally invasive surgical techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Strong attention to detail and sterile processing knowledge
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
