Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations with instrument passing and sterile techniques
- Maintain accurate electronic documentation remotely post-procedure
- Manage sterilization processes and inventory tracking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams via virtual meetings
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years OR experience in surgical specialties
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to handle on-call shifts with 24-hour remote support
- Strong attention to detail and sterile technique mastery
- Tennessee state license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
