Job Overview:
In this role, you will provide direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, and monitor patient vital signs under the supervision of Registered Nurses. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, temperatures, and blood pressure levels.
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment.
- Transport patients using wheelchairs or stretchers safely.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately.
Qualifications
- Current and valid State CNA Certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients (up to 50 lbs).
