Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist with daily living activities (ADLs) to ensure patient comfort and dignity.
- Administer medication as directed by registered nurses.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Colorado.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred but not always required.
