Responsibilities

- <li>Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.</li>
- <li>Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, accurately and timely.</li>
- <li>Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics to prevent injury.</li>
- <li>Feed and assist patients with eating and drinking, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.</li>
- <li>Communicate significant changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and physicians immediately.</li>
- <li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment, adhering to infection control protocols.</li>
- <li>Support patients with emotional and social needs, providing a comforting presence during their recovery.</li>

Qualifications
- <ul>
- <li>Current, unencumbered Missouri CNA license and certification.</li>
- <li>Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.</li>
- <li>High school diploma or GED equivalent required.</li>
- <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.</li>
- <li>Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift patients, and perform manual tasks.</li>
- <li>Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by patient needs.</li>
- <li>Previous experience in a long-term care or acute care setting is preferred but not mandatory.</li>
