Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer prescribed medications and document treatments accurately in electronic health records.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to Registered Nurses and physicians promptly.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Transport patients to and from medical appointments or procedures safely.
Qualifications
- Current Washington State CNA Certification (WA CNA License).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient safety.
