Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Monitor Health Status: Observe and report any changes in patient behavior, physical condition, or symptoms to the nursing staff.
- Assist with Medical Procedures: Support nurses with vital sign monitoring, wound care, and other basic medical procedures as trained.
- Document Patient Information: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient care logs.
- Ensure Safety and Hygiene: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate Effectively: Act as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification: Current Georgia CNA certification required; Entry Level candidates with a passion for healthcare are welcome to apply (we offer training programs).
- Experience: No prior experience required, but a background in patient care is a plus.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work well under pressure.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, and pull patients up to 50 lbs; ability to stand for extended periods.
