As a CNA, you will play a vital role in the daily lives of our patients, providing the compassion and care they deserve.
Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates accurately.
- Mobility Support: Safely assist patients with transferring, walking, and using mobility aids.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient care logs.
- Hygiene: Ensure patient rooms and common areas are clean, safe, and sanitary.
- Communication: Report changes in patient behavior or condition to the supervising nurse immediately.
Qualifications
- Certification: Active, unencumbered CNA license in the state of Kansas.
- CPR Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a nursing home, hospital, or home health setting is preferred.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
