Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance as needed.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques.
- Administer medication as directed by RN/LPN and document accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required in the state of Oregon.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital, assisted living, or home health setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude.
