Responsibilities
- Patient Monitoring: Observe and report changes in patient health status, symptoms, and behavior to RNs and physicians.
- Assistance with Daily Living: Provide support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Vital Signs: Accurately measure and record patient temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for patients and staff.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between patients and the medical team, ensuring questions are answered promptly.
- Emotional Support: Offer compassionate care and emotional support to patients and their families during stressful times.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Georgia.
- Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift patients, and perform physical tasks as needed.
