Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient vitals, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight measurements.
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and rooming patients efficiently.
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately and in compliance with HIPAA.
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide pre- and post-procedure education.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Coordinate patient appointments and handle incoming inquiries via phone and email.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high standards of patient care.
