Responsibilities:
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Provide basic bedside care and emotional support to patients and families.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient care activities, updates, and changes in condition accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
Qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required for the state of Oregon.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
- Physical stamina to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
