Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure safety and comfort.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, following physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans tailored to specific needs.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the broader healthcare team.
- Provide clear and compassionate patient education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and home care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records in electronic health systems.
- Ensure a sterile, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
