Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, promptly escalating any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to ensure coordinated care.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health management, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Ohio.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
