Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health status, including vital signs, symptoms, and changes in behavior.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the nursing staff.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Document patient care plans, procedures, and responses accurately in electronic health records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with a high attention to detail.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
