Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Monitor and document vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility, transferring, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and transfer devices.
- Communicate changes in a patient's condition, mood, or behavior to the nursing staff and charge nurse promptly.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding for patients with special dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Support patients with light housekeeping tasks related to their care.
Qualifications
- Current, valid CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license in the State of Arizona.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or assisted living facility is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and caring demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
