Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and walking using proper body mechanics.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Document patient care activities, symptoms, and changes in condition accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the nursing staff.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA Certification (Ohio Board of Nursing).
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred but not required.
- Valid CPR Certification (BLS) required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
