As a CNA, you will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor their health status, and work closely with our nursing staff to ensure the highest standards of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care to residents including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding for residents with dietary restrictions.
- Transport residents to medical appointments and activities using wheelchair or stretcher as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents and staff.
- Communicate changes in resident condition or behavior to the Charge Nurse immediately.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered California CNA license.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with lifting/transferring patients.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude.
