Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with mobility and transfer patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and stretchers.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Document patient care activities, changes in condition, and any incidents in the electronic health record.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Missouri State CNA License.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong desire to help others.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
