Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transferring, and positioning to prevent bedsores and ensure safety.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff and family members regarding patient status and needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients.
- Document patient care activities and incidents in accordance with facility protocols.
- Support the medical team during meal times and medication administration.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Candidate must be willing to obtain CNA certification if not already certified.
- Strong compassion, patience, and a desire to help others.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
- Basic computer skills for documentation.
- Physical ability to lift and move patients up to 50 lbs.
