Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs with precision and accuracy
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding support as needed
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments per HIPAA standards
- Collaborate effectively with RNs and medical staff during shift transitions
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Complete comprehensive incident and progress reports
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care or long-term experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification from AHA
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper technique
- Clear criminal background check and TB test results
- Reliable transportation to multiple El Paso locations
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
