Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients as needed.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics.
- Communicate changes in patient conditions to the Registered Nurse (RN) or charge nurse immediately.
- Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, or surgical procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed personnel.
Qualifications
- Current, valid State of Arizona Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- CPR/BLS Certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross) required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid photo ID and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
