Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families during their stay.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient preferences.
- Document patient care activities and medical information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Assist with mobility issues, including transferring patients to and from beds or wheelchairs safely.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and requests for assistance.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CNA Certification or willingness to obtain one through our sponsored training program.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented nature.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
