Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor client vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation for client comfort
- Transport clients to appointments and errands (mileage reimbursed)
- Assist with mobility and range-of-motion exercises
- Maintain accurate care documentation
Qualifications
- Nebraska Home Health Aide certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid Nebraska driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Compassionate nature with strong communication skills
- Clear background check and drug screening required
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
