Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting significant changes to the RN.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing with the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Proven reliability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid state-issued identification and proof of eligibility to work in the USA.
