Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse accurately.
- Assist nurses with medical procedures, treatments, and medication administration.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment.
- Document patient progress, complaints, and care provided in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA license in the State of New Mexico.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR/BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Previous experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
