Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assistance with bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Monitor vital signs, record patient information, and report changes in condition to the nursing staff.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) to ensure patient comfort and dignity.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by licensed nurses.
- Document care plans and patient progress accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Current and active Georgia CNA license (CNA-1).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients safely.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient safety.
