Responsibilities
- Provide direct, hands-on patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming to ensure maximum comfort and hygiene.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment in accordance with facility standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and needs.
- Document all care activities and changes in patient condition in real-time.
- Administer medications and perform treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California CNA Certification (NCLCA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
