Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and maintain patient safety protocols
- Document care activities accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Support patients with daily living activities while respecting dignity and privacy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in team huddles and continuing education sessions
Qualifications
- Active North CNA license in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in a clinical setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly patients
- Proficiency in electronic documentation systems
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability including weekends
