Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Support patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Personal Care: Provide intimate personal hygiene care to ensure patient comfort and dignity.
- Communication: Effectively communicate patient updates and concerns to the RN or Case Manager.
- Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment according to infection control standards.
- Record Keeping: Document care provided accurately and timely in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: No prior experience required; paid or volunteer caregiving experience is a plus.
- License: Active CNA certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Skills: Strong interpersonal communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner.
- Physical: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
