Responsibilities
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and on time.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming to ensure dignity and comfort.
- Provide personal hygiene care, changing linens, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Communicate changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff and physicians promptly and effectively.
- Turn, reposition, and move patients safely to prevent bedsores and maintain mobility.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding for patients with specific dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA Certification (State of Wisconsin) required.
- CPR/BLS Certification is mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
