Job Summary
We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn the fundamentals of patient care. As a CNA at our facility, you will work closely with our nursing staff to ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting).
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Turn, reposition, and move patients to prevent bedsores and ensure comfort.
- Prepare patients for medical examinations and treatments.
- Feed and hydrate patients according to dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or behavior to the charge nurse immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Current CNA certification/license in the state of Georgia.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and assist patients (up to 50 lbs).
- Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor.
- Willingness to complete additional training and certifications as required.
